Circa 1875 - A beautiful mirror that's a great exemplar of high Victorian tastes.

    This charming mirror is a robust dressing piece of the Victorian Period. It has a circular plate in a molded frame on scrolled supports and a serpentine platform with an oval lidded jewelry compartment. The piece would make a wonderful bedroom addition.

     

    Condition: This piece is in good condition. There are a few age related black spots on the mirror. The lid to the jewelry compartment has damage on the surface that can be seen in the pics. There are some compression related cracks near the mirror clasps.  The piece is sturdy overall, and would be very functional.
