  • Details

Circa 1800 - This is an early 19th Century mahogany, bow front corner washstand constructed of solid mahogany. A classic period piece that was super popular during its heyday at the turn of the 19th Century. The top level has three openings, one large and two small. The middle has one central drawer flanked by two faux drawers all with brass pull handles. The bottom tier is an inverted T stretcher over out swept square legs. A versatile washstand that could be used in most rooms functionally or decoratively.

Condition: The wash stand is in excellent condition. While there are the typical minor surface imperfections, the only issues worth noting are a gap on the middle level that has formed due to separation from the back leg, and an old repaired crack on that same platform near the front left leg. While these are noticeable, they do not effect the pieces stability.

    Dimensions: 42"H x 24"W x 17"D, Large Hole: 9.75" diameter, Small Holes: 2.75" diameter.
