It has a molded cornice over an upper section with three small drawers over three long graduated drawers flanked by fluted quarter columns. The bottom section has a brushing slide over three long graduated drawers on bracket feet. Its a wonderful piece with a very nice patina that will look great in any room or an office.
Condition: This piece is in very good condition. There has been restorative work to some of the cockbeading on the drawers that can be seen. There are some old losses to some of the drawer faces that can be detected as well. There are various age related shrinkage cracks on both of the sides of the upper sections and on the drawer bottoms. The bottoms are stable, however, and can hold weight as expected. There are various other minor dents, dings, scratches, and other surface imperfections that one would expect to find on a genuine piece of 18th Century furniture.
